LOCATIONS
Prior to your shoot, we will agree on a location. Newborn sessions primarily take place in your home, whereas family and pet photoshoots are better outdoors – a local park, a nearby beauty spot or even your back garden. I find that the best locations are places where there is some woodland but also open grassy spaces. It may be somewhere you have spent time as a family, or you may choose one of the locations from the list below. I have compiled a list of the locations I particularly enjoy shooting in:
ELVASTON CASTLE COUNTRY PARK, DE72 3EN
Elvaston Castle boasts beautiful woodland, a lake, gardens and a field leading to the castle.
ALLESTREE PARK, DE22 2HH
A short walk from the car park through acres of woodland, there is a stunning open space with wildflowers, trees, gardens and hills which are perfect for rolling down!
DARLEY PARK, DE22 1DU
This is a vast park on the river, with some wooded areas and a variety of open spaces.
Other suggestions include Rosliston Forestry Centre, King George's Park, Millennium Wood and Foremark Reservoir.
